Assignment 1
Construction Lines
In this project, we were to take ordinary objects that we had around us and break them up into their most basic forms and shapes. I really struggled in the first half of this assignment grasping onto the concept, put haver reviewing past students portfolios and doing some research, and even watching some YouTube videos, I was able to successfully complete the assignment.
Assignment 2
Photography and Architecture
We started out by going around campus and taking pictures of thirty six objects, and sketch six objects that showed Ching's six principles of design.

Assignment 3
Cartesian Grid
For this project, we were to explore the idea of Euclidian geometry, and how a singular point goes to a line, to a plane, to a volume. I decided create a design based upon the idea of Framed Views. I wanted to create a seemingly symmetrical view when looking out from within the bland space but expressed asymmetry when looking in from the outside.
Assignment 4
Architectonic Word Project
My word, Amalgamate, is all about mixing, and mingling, and blending. We had to design a variety of parti sketches and models to express the word that we were assigned in a final model.
